Seniors Yoga (VIA ZOOM) 10:30am-11:30am
Improve your balance and strength via yoga postures and fluid movement sequences in a class that is designed to be adaptable to all fitness levels. A 5 minute assessment of your physical health will be conducted at the time of booking in order to ensure that the session is structured with each your individual capabilities in mind.
Monday Trivia Madness! (VIA ZOOM) 2:00pm-4:00pm
How many notes in an octave? Who wrote To Kill A Mocking Bird? Who is the longest standing Australian Prime Minister? If you know the answer to these or keen to find out, join us for a fun and spirited afternoon of social interaction. Final answers are decided in a group discussion with all participants. This is a great way to meet new people as well as a chance to catch up with old friends. Clients are welcome to dial in via landline or mobile phone.
Evening Choir (VIA ZOOM) 6:00pm-7:30pm
For the songbirds and Rock ‘n’ Rollers at heart, join us on Monday evenings to practice your vocals to pop, world music and folk songs, with a pianist or in an acapella, under the instruction of your choir mistress, Naomi. From the novice to the seasoned singer, this is a pressuCre free opportunity to join in and bond over some of your favourite tunes.
Cooking with Ron (VIA ZOOM) 10:00am-11:00am
This series is aimed at the cook at heart to talk about recipes, cooking techniques and healthy eating options. Sessions are live cooking demonstrations where clients can join in their own kitchen, or simply watch the fun and provide tips. Clients are welcome to cook these same recipes at their own time and share images with the group. Because, if we can’t sit at the same table, we can still eat the same meal!
New Dance Moves (VIA ZOOM) 4:00pm-5:30pm
New Moves is a movement-based wellness program specifically designed for the mature body. These fun-filled, dance-based classes are suitable for all ages, fitness levels, body types and backgrounds. In a warm environment, Dr. Pauline Manley (who has a PhD in movement practices so that her classes are based in the latest research) will have you moving freely to raise your spirits and keep your body healthy.
If you are interested, but unsure how to Zoom, just reach out and we will make sure that you get set up and are feeling confident in time for your first session.
